Strategy for growth
A manufacturer of equipment for handling of fluids was interested in finding opportunities for growth in energy and clean technology. We analysed the market potentials of their products in all segments of the energy market, in order to identify the most attractive prockets for growth. we also pinpointed targets for acqusition and opportunities for product development that would successfully complement the product portfolio. The company has since experienced impressive growth in the energy sector.
Transition from petroleum to biomass feedstock
Our client, a major Nordic refinery, was prompted by legislatory changes to increase the cproportion of biobased contents in its petroleum products. with the aim to promote a gradual full transition to biobased feedstocks. Because of the differences in chemistry, sourcing and market dynamics, this represented a significant challenge, We supported the Business Development function in reorganising its internal selection and project promotion process to more effectively take development ideas from conception to product launch.
Integration and digitalization of the Nordic Balancing Markets
The European energy and power markets are on a continuant path towards integration and harmonization. Tine has come to extend this also to the balancing of power networks. This requires extensive replacement of systems, processes and ways of working, for the purpose of optimizing socio-economic welfare across national markets. The Nordic Balancing Model, a collaboration initiative of the four Nordic TSOs, aims to realise this objective. Ms Berkhahn Blyhammar is currently retained by Svenska Kraftnät to contribute with managerial and analytical skills in this important undertaking.
